Meet Joseph Hebert
While Joe Hebert’s journey didn’t start in Clovis, he’s proudly called this beautiful city home for the past 13 years. Joe grew up in Seaside and attended San Jose State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration. Prior to moving to the Central Valley, Joe had an extensive managerial career in the aerospace industry and worked with several Fortune 100 companies, including Apple and Hewlett Packard.
A Message From Joe

I believe in having city vision, not tunnel vision, when it comes to providing my leadership, guidance and experience to the Clovis City Council. As I spoke to many community members before making the decision to run for election, a common question I was asked was “What party are you with?”
I believe that’s the wrong question we should ask our city leaders. Instead, we should ask about their character. We should ask if they’re qualified for the job and why. We should ask what our leaders can bring to the table for us, our community and our city. My commitment to a brighter future for all of my neighbors in Clovis can contribute to the overall strength and success of our city.
I hope every Clovis resident will turn out to vote on November 8 and support my city vision for Clovis. Together, we can cultivate a community of safe neighborhoods, affordable homes, more jobs and second chances to those in need.

A Vision For The Future Of Clovis
Housing Affordability
As a member of the Clovis City Council, Joe will work tirelessly to build family-friendly communities and neighborhoods that are affordable, accessible and provide more opportunities for families to achieve the American Dream.
Safe Neighborhoods Means a Safer City
Building partnerships with and providing the resources for our local Clovis police and firefighters is an integral part in keeping our families safe. As your Councilman, Joe will work with local leaders, organizations and the brave men and women who protect our city to address the rise in property crime.
Reducing Homelessness
All residents deserve to feel safe in their neighborhood. As a community leader, Joe will advocate to reduce homelessness and its effects. By working with the Clovis Police Department to target and eliminate property crime, vagrancy and more, we can continue to provide a safer environment for our children to play, learn and innovate.
Shared Best Practices Among Municipalities
Joe has called Clovis home for more than a decade and knows Clovis is a well-run city that’s traditionally benefited from good stewardship within its leadership ranks. Joe wants to share those success strategies and best practices amongst all Central Valley municipalities because when one of our cities thrive, we all have the potential to thrive and create safer communities for future generations.
